Vic election leaders to face off

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews and Leader of the Opposition Matthew Guy will face-off in a debate in one the state's most marginal seats.

The two major party leaders will attempt to win over 100 undecided voters in Frankston, in Melbourne's outer suburbs.

It will be the first time the leaders go head-to-head in the campaign, with just days left until the state election.

Victorians wanting to vote by post have just hours left to register, with the Victorian Electoral Commission's cut-off for applications closing tonight.

More than 135,000 people have already voted by post and another 807,000 have voted early.

Unlike in previous years, there is no excuse needed to vote by post, it just requires an application without a reason.
